Hearing is believing!
Inmates in most of American prison systems are, of course, forbidden to gamble. Enforcing this interdiction is sometimes just a matter of simply not allowing, for instance, the ownership and circulation of poker card sets. Restrictions on this game, for most part, are so explicitly written into state laws that the correctional institutions involved have indeed decided to ban their use completely.
Lately, I've also been hearing stories of a type of poker card set that is widely popular in correctional centers because it doesn't explicitly fall into the descriptions written into the law. So far, however, I've not been able to collect information about what kind of gambling games inmates have figured out with these sets. if you happen to have any information about this, would you let me hear it, please? I'm all ears! I want to believe!
